CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 7, 2014) – Tresata was chosen by Charlotte Mayor Clodfelter and the Mayor’s International Community Awards Selection Committee as a winner for the Mayor’s International Community Awards (MICA) for 2014. Tresata was selected as the winner in the Small Company Category for its philanthropic endeavors and commitment to supporting the community, especially through its “For the World” program.
The award recognizes both Tresata’s roots as an international company led by the two founders, Abhishek Mehta & Richard Morris, who are originally from India and New Zealand, as well as Tresata’s efforts to make the world a better place via For the World, an initiative that offers the company’s next-generation big data predictive analytics software to educational institutions to help tackle the monumental challenge of providing the right education to the right children at the right time.
